Acclaim's X-Men Officially On for PlayStation

Representatives at Acclaim confirmed on Friday that the company will be publishing its Sony PlayStation version of Capcom's 2-D arcade fighter, X-Men: Children of the Atom later this fall.

The future of the game has been uncertain for quite some time now. The original developer, Capcom, ran into certain technical problems while attempting to bring the game over to the system, after creating an excellent port for the Sega Saturn. From there, Acclaim took over the development of the title and brought it out for the PC before recently finding a way to overcome the technical hurdles of bringing it to the PlayStation.
