Acclaim to Bring Paris-Dakar Rally to the PlayStation 2

Acclaim has announced that it is bringing Paris-Dakar Rally to the PlayStation 2 sometime this summer in Europe. The game is being developed by Broadsword Interactive, and it will include rally races featuring 4x4 vehicles, ATV quads, and motocross bikes.

The Dakar rallies are held in Europe and Africa on a yearly basis. The race's 17 stages span six countries and take a week to complete. No gameplay details have been released, and a North American release has yet to be confirmed.
