This morning, Acclaim announced that it shipped developer Puzzle Kings' 3D puzzle game ZooCube to retailers for the GameCube and Game Boy Advance platforms. The premise behind ZooCube is a fairly odd one, with the world's animals being transformed into a variety of polygonal shapes, their only hope lying in the player's flying ark and its ability to bring them back to their former selves. ZooCube lets players control a floating cube, which can be rotated on three axes, collecting polygonal objects that stack as they connect to the cube. Matching up these objects will help return the animals they represent to their natural state. Players can collect power-ups and engage in multiplayer cooperative or competitive matches with a friend.

ZooCube is currently available for the Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance at the retail prices of $49.99 and $29.99, respectively.
