Acclaim Plants Seeds of Evil
Acclaim prepares Turok 2 for invasion of the N64 and PC.
Next week, Acclaim Entertainment will show off its sequel to the biggest N64 game last year by a third-party licensee - Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. The game is currently in development at Acclaim Studios for the Nintendo 64 and 3D-accelerated PC's. Acclaim announced today that the game will ship for both platforms in October.
Would-be dinosaur hunters can choose between quest mode and several different four-player split-screen deathmatch modes, including team play, "Frag Tag," or standard shoot-your-neighbor. The PC version will feature multiplayer action for up to 16 players over LAN or Internet connections, using peer-to-peer or client-server modes.
