Acclaim faces second lawsuit

Acclaim stockholders have filed a lawsuit against the company, alleging that the company released several misleading statements about upcoming products and the company's financial situation. According to the lawsuit, Acclaim failed to disclose several items, including its operating problems and decreased demand for key products. The suit also alleges that the company's sales-tracking software was inadequate, which resulted in skewed sales projections.

This is the second lawsuit filed against Acclaim this year, with the first being filed on behalf of Dave Mirra in regard to Acclaim's BMX XXX games. We'll post more details as they become available.
