Acclaim Announces New Studio

Acclaim Entertainment announced on Thursday that it has created a new UK division called Acclaim Studios Stroud. The new development team is comprised of 26 former Psygnosis employees.

"We are extremely pleased to be joining Acclaim Studios," said Acclaim Studios Stroud's director Neil Duffield. "The ability to draw from and contribute to the pool of technology and digital assets stemming from all of the studios worldwide is an exciting prospect. We look forward to creating the next great PlayStation games under our new label."

No titles have been announced to be in development from the studio, but according to Acclaim's release, further details will be revealed in the next few weeks.
