Now Playing: The Witcher Netflix Series Release Date Announced - GS News Update

Hopefully, the trailer will finally deliver the release date for the series. There have been rumblings that the show will come out at the end of November--even though it wasn't listed on Netflix's November release list. Redanian Intelligence, a Witcher informational account, took a photo of alleged promotional art which claims the world premiere for the series is December 16. If this is true, we could see The Witcher arrive on December 20, as Netflix typically debuts its bigger original series on Fridays.

Recently, some more images were released from the upcoming show, one of which shows Geralt riding Roach. Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Freya Allan as Ciri.

If you're impatient for the TV series, why not play Witcher 3 again, but this time, on Switch? In his review of the Nintendo port, Jacob Dekker gave The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt an 9/10 (while the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 versions received a 10/10), and in the review, Dekker said, "Although the Nintendo Switch might not be the best platform to play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it's still a fantastic experience that shouldn't be missed. If you are looking to replay The Witcher 3 and bask in its detail and beauty, the Switch port may not quite scratch that itch. However, what makes this game excellent isn't its graphics, but the powerful stories it tells, and those are as vivid as ever on Switch."
