A new trailer for the Suicide Squad spinoff TV series Peacemaker starring John Cena has arrived. The new trailer dig into's the aftermath of The Suicide Squad, with Peacemaker taking on jobs for the government to keep America safe.

Except Peacemaker starts to question his orders--the trailer shows Peacemaker being asked to kill children--and the show will seemingly dig into Peacemaker coming to terms with his job and where it takes him. There also appears to be an interesting dynamic between Peacemaker and his father.

Series writer-director James Gunn said on Twitter, "Creating this show brought me a tremendous amount of joy."

Peacemaker is written by James Gunn, who wrote and directed The Suicide Squad. He's staying busy, also recently confirming that his Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will feature a brand-new MCU character.
