While one Game of Thrones prequel series got cancelled, another one rises from its ashes. HBO has announced yet another new prequel to Game of Thrones called House of the Dragon, and hopefully, this one actually makes it to production.

During the WarnerMedia investor event, which mainly covered the upcoming streaming service HBO Max, the upcoming 10-episode GoT series was announced. The story will be based on George R.R. Martin's book Fire & Blood and take place 300 years prior to the events of Game of Thrones. The series will tell the story of House Targaryen.
