A Hat In Time Dev "Working On" Bringing DLC To PS4, Xbox

The cutesy 3D platformer A Hat in Time made waves when it was first released on PC in October 2017, making its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later that year. The two DLC packs for the game, which were released in 2018 and 2019 respectively, have never made their way to the two consoles due to "certain circumstances."

However, when developer Gears for Breakfast unveiled an unexpected port for the Nintendo Switch in October 2019, fans were surprised when the two DLC packs did eventually make their way to Nintendo's platform later that year. This led to questions about when the DLC was going to arrive on the other two consoles. While Gears for Breakfast hasn't confirmed anything yet, it did announce that it is working to get the additional content working on the PS4 and Xbox One.

The platforming isn't particularly challenging, nor does it do anything especially new, but A Hat in Time's cleverly themed worlds and witty quips lend it a more contemporary feel that's just right for satisfying a 3D platforming craving."
