A "Damp Seats" Count, Zombies, and More in This Weird PS4 Rollercoaster Game

Check out the weird trailer here.

Many players, myself included, have a lot of nostalgia for the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, and developers have tried to recapture the magic of those games over the years. Now, PS4 and PS VR are getting a new amusement park management game--but it might not be exactly what RollerCoaster Tycoon fans had in mind.

Rollercoaster Dreams is a game from developer Bimboosoft, which has previously made titles like Dream Match Tennis and Line Space Wars. This is the company's first foray into VR, and Bimboosoft released a trailer today showing off some of the game's features. It's bizarre, to say the least. You can watch it below.

I can honestly say I wasn't expecting to see zombies show up in an amusement park management game. I am also quite amused by the counter shown at the end that tracks the number of people vomiting and the number of "damp seats."

Apparently it'll also let you "enjoy the romantic night" at your amusement park, and in virtual reality, no less:

From the shots we get in the trailer, the game looks pretty rough at the moment. But if you've been craving a RollerCoaster Tycoon-like game on console, it might give you enough of a taste to keep you satiated until something else comes along. Rollercoaster Dreams will be released on October 13, the launch date of PS VR.

If you have a PC, RollerCoaster Tycoon is being revived by Atari with RollerCoaster Tycoon World, and it went into Steam Early Access in March. You can also look forward to Planet Coaster coming this year from the developer of Thrillville and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3.
