8BitDo's Handy Xbox Media Remote Gets Rare Discount
This backlit remote makes it easy to scroll through your favorite streaming services, and it's now on sale for its lowest price ever.
If you're using Xbox Series X to access Netflix, Hulu, Max, or any other streaming service, you've probably found the standard gamepad to be a bit clunky. While it works great for gaming, it's not ideal for browsing catalogs or rewinding movies. Those problems are largely solved by the 8BitDo Media Remote for Xbox, which is seeing a rare discount ahead of Black Friday and is currently listed for its lowest price ever.
8BitDo Media Remote for Xbox
$16 (was $25)
The 8BitDo Media Remote is officially licensed by Xbox and supports Series X, Series S, and Xbox One. It's designed with motion-activated backlit buttons to help you easily find the keys you're looking for, and it should automatically pair with your console when in close proximity. Note that only the Long version is seeing this giant price cut--the Short model is still full price.
This is essentially a standard remote built specifically for Xbox platforms, with a Home button that'll wake the console instantly, a combination of face buttons and number keys, and even a way to control the volume of your TV (so long as it supports HDMI-CEC).
8BitDo is known for making high-quality products, and now that its Media Remote is reduced to just $16, it's an easy recommendation for anyone using their console as a home for all their streaming services. This is just the second time this year we've seen it hit $16, with the rest of the year seeing only minor discounts.
Beyond this Media Remote, tons of other 8BitDo products are on sale. Many of these deals are bound to disappear at the end of the month, so be sure to cash in while you can.
