Aspyr Media's Macintosh version of the off-road racing game is on its way to stores.

Aspyr Media has announced that 4X4 EVO 2 for the Macintosh has shipped and will soon arrive in stores. The game was developed by Terminal Reality and released for the PC in October. The Macintosh version includes all of the features of the PC version, and it is optimized for Mac OS 9.1 and Mac OS X.

The game features a number of improvements on the previous game, including better artificial intelligence, more realistic car physics and collision detection, multiple camera angles, and an advanced terrain editor. In addition, the game's multiplayer mode supports up to 15 players over the Internet.
