3dfx Voodoo3 Sales Magic

3dfx Interactive announced that it had seized the top three sales spots for all three versions of the Voodoo3 according to PC Data's best-selling video card list for April. The Voodoo3 3000 AGP was the number one selling card with the Voodoo3 2000 PCI version taking second place, followed by the Voodoo3 2000 AGP which took third.

Currently the Voodoo3 3000 AGP sells for US$179.99 and the Voodoo3 2000 AGP and PCI versions sell for $129.99.

3Dfx also announced that with the launch of the Voodoo3, it has shipped it 10 millionth graphics product. In fact, the Voodoo3 line outsold the nearest competing product by 450 percent in terms of unit shipments, and an astounding 1,200 percent in terms of revenues.
