3dfx Resumes Voodoo5 Launch

After recalling and testing all Voodoo5 boards for a compatibility issue last week, 3dfx just announced that shipping has resumed, and the boards should reach the gaming public starting June 9.

"In hindsight, perhaps our course of action was overly cautious, but it is better to address these types of issues before a product is released," said Richard Burns, senior vice president of worldwide sales for 3dfx Interactive.
