15 New Star Wars: Rogue One Images Released

Star Wars: Rogue One is something new for the Star Wars franchise, as it's a spinoff that appears to have a darker, more war story-like tone.

Entertainment Weekly's December issue will contain a cover story for the movie. As part of that, the magazine today posted 15 new images from the film, showing off main character Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), the evil Darth Vader (voiced by James Earl Jones), and new bad guy Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn). There are also a lot of action shots, one of which shows a critical battle. Another images shows the new U-wing spaceship, while there are also some behind-the-scenes shots of director Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) working with the cast. See all the images here at EW.

The Star Wars Battlefront video game is getting Rogue One-themed DLC before the movie's premiere next month. It's called Rogue One: Scarif and adds Jyn Erso and Director Orson Krennic as playable Hero characters.
