$100 Yo-Kai Watch 2DS Bundle Announced
Level 5's Japanese RPG gets its own system bundle in the US.
Nintendo on Monday announced a special 2DS bundle themed around the upcoming RPG, Yo-Kai Watch. The $100 bundle goes on sale November 6 at retailers across the US and comes with a red system and a pre-installed copy of the Pokemon-like game. Take a look at the bundle through the image below.
Originally launched for 3DS in Japan back in 2013, Yo-Kai Watch has become a huge sensation, drawing comparisons to Pokemon and selling 8 million copies in Japan alone. In April, Nintendo announced that it was bringing the game, developed by Professor Layton studio Level-5, to North America and Europe.
Yo-Kai Watch is an RPG centered around a boy who receives a watch that allows him to interact with invisible Yo-kai creatures. Read more about the game in our previous coverage or watch the gameplay video below from E3.

Nintendo 2DS is Nintendo's portable hardware offering aimed at children. It plays all compatible 3DS and DS games, but without the 3D effect, of course. Another $100 system bundle comes with Mario Kart 7.
