What have you made?

Gamers have uploaded more than 1 million Super Mario Maker courses since the Wii U level-building game debuted less than a week ago. Nintendo announced the milestone on its Japanese Twitter account.

A new video from Nintendo highlights some of these imaginative courses.

Super Mario Maker launched on September 11. GameSpot's review scored the Wii U game a 9/10.

"The game won't necessarily turn you into the next Shigeru Miyamoto, but you can almost feel a little bit of that magic rubbing off every time you upload a new creation," critic Justin Haywald wrote in his review.

Too bad 95% of these levels can't be manually searched for by name and will be lost in the ether forever.

You need 16 digit codes to find a specific level Nintendo? Really?

@alfalfalaffa: For real. Guess somebody at nintendo really thought this was a NES and you needed a code.

One Million Super Mario Levels?! Mario, Mario, Mario... How can gamers play that boring game over and over again? Like reading the same book allover again and again and again... No wonder Nintendo slowly vanishs, they had two or three good ideas, the rest, repeating ancient gameplays till they... die!

@zencubes: blah blah blah blah blah is all I really saw the same two or three good ideas ? lol I doubt Super Mario 3D land even REMOTELY resembles anything from 28 years ago...lol mario is the best selling franchise of all time (NO Game even comes close, no GAME franchise/series of games even come close) I mean mario kart in itself is a billion dollar series generator - even the classic super mario titles and 3d titles from the past 4 consoles have been highly successful and as for repetition thats ALL game series - look at far cry 2, ,3 , 4 (same game, diff enviroment thats all really) look at racing games, new car models, slightly updated visuals (notch by notch) look at sports games, look at every year a new FPS call of duty or battlefield - I mean every damn genre and game series you can point out - is really the same, repetition over and over and over with a few new features in every new game , lol and Nintendo has had 3 (of the top 10 game consoles in the past 28 years) in terms of sales (nationwide/worldwide) and with Mario and Zelda franchises TOPPING the list of the best selling franchises of all time (IN the entire history of gaming worldwide) lol - yet nintendo is dying ? yet it leads the handheld market, downloadable classic titles (also leads that market as well) with 3 (multi-billion dollar) franchises....I heard idiots say this same shit in 2002 (yet nintendo is still around and thriving and coming up with new 1st person titles, exclusive content, reworked classics, new devices and still generating millions) what has sony and microsoft done thats so revolutionary in the past 10 years ? - lol your comment is quite nonsense and you know what they say about history - (its doomed to repeat) and they can take a franchise and spin it a dozen different ways over 30 years so be it (it works) - you are merely an opinion thats it, I highly doubt 1 gamespot commentor will have any effect on the world of gaming and nintendos continued success (and I can almost guarantee) in the year 2025 (literally 10 years from now) when nintendo is looking at its 40th anniversary since the release of the first mario title for NES they will still be doing just fine...you wish they would die, or "think" thats whats happening (yet titles like mario kart 8, xenoblade chronicles X (I mean some of the best RPGs I've played, racing sims, and classic downloads I've played in recent years have been from nintendo franchises (lets not forget from 1984-1992 - nintendo dominated the 8bit and 16bit market in console gaming 1996-2000 nintendo dominated the console market with 2 more consoles (with the n64 as a start) and then 2005-2009 nintendo dominated with the Wii console (being the best selling console of the last 10 years) and mario being the best selling franchise of all time (and the overall winner of more awards from 1984-1997 then any other console franchise, from goldeneye 007, to mario kart, to star fox, to secret of evermore, bomberman, kirby titles, secret of mana, chrono trigger, mega man, donkey kong (and related titles) to zelda (and related titles) super smash bros, power glove, all the classic nintendo handhelds, ultraman, turok dinosaur hunter, the introduction of 3d anti-aliasing in video games , best selling HANDHELD of all time, best selling (#2 and 3) consoles of all time - ....yet somehow they are a dying company ? lol from Game Boy original to New Nintendo 3DS XL (and 1,000s of games) and 482 million units moved in 43 countries (and over 110 million units moved JUST of the N64, and over 92 million units moved of JUST the Wii) (and then you gotta think of the trading card genre, Pokemon, Skylands (recent deals to buyout the series) - new series like Splatoon (and several big titles from the past 2 years like The Wonderful 101 and the hugely successful Bayonetta 2 (and hidden gems like Okami and The Last Story/Pandoras Tower/Xenoblade Chronicles (Via operation rainfall) ...lol so many 100s and 100s of titles, over 30+ years, and 7 major consoles, and numerous handhelds, and so many franchises - yea that really seems like a dying company to me (oh because the wii u sales havent matched the wii sales?) so what - they still dominate the handheld market (I mean really wheres the competition ? Vita ? (laugh) - and the portable units (and tablet/readers) are a different market - and with an upcoming (code named: NX) I doubt nintendo is going anywhere anytime soon dont listen to this buffoon lol.
