Even at the $20 budget price, this anthology is far from satisfactory to even the old school gamer!

Let's start by saying that it's hard to say this game compilation gets off on a right foot considering it's flawed with control and difficulty issues even for a veteran fighting gamer. I noticed with Art of Fighting 1 the controls and moves were half of the time unresponsive apart from the difficulty in the game being nearly impossible. Art of Fighting 2 kinda falls in the same scenario that Art of Fighting 1 did except for the fact that the game has better graphics and more characters to choose from other than AOF1's 2 in single player. Art of Fighting 3 just felt fake from the start, when you play AOF3 it just feels like the designers couldnt figure out whether to make the characters 3D or cartoony and fail both ways. And like the past 2 games this one has some A.I problems too, although of all 3 games this is definitely not the most playable. The compilations that you see nowadays mostly all come with extras like history of the game, artwork, etc and this one doesnt come with anything except with the option to change from the original music from the arcade or the mega sucking arranged. All in all ... unless you were a fan of the music, this game just fails in everyway!
