Army defender is a very basic and simple game. All you need to do is keep the enemies from destroying your base. The game is played held like a book like in some other DS games. You use the stylus to tap the screen where you want to shoot the enemies. Though this sounds pretty boring, there are actually two types of enemies you need to watch out for, the green and the red. Green enemies can only be killed by green shots and the red enemies can only be killed by red shots. To change the shots' colors you just tap the cannon or press any button on the DS. These two different enemies attacking you at the same time actually keeps you on your toes, and you have to be quick to switch the color of your ammunition. There's not much to be said about the graphics or music of the game. The graphics are just OK and I barely noticed the music. While Army Defender is a short, simplistic game, it's hard to complain about it seeing as how it will only set you back 200 points ($2). If anyone is looking for a fun, low-price game, this is a game for you.
