The first iteration of a continuing Armored Core series on the PS2.

This game was great considering that it was a first generation title and the finally updated the graphics to the game and gave it some good features to play with. Your typical menus were all there, Garage, Emblem, Missions, Arena, & Options. With the emblems you had to create a new one and could not import the old one from your PS1 game saves. The workaround for me was fine because they put the same graphics tools in this game so that can make an identical emblem as I had in the first 3 games on PS1. The garage was much more robust in the fact that you can make 3 different designs of cores. So you can have a lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight cores. The missions were about the same look and feel where as in the previous games you definitely can choose which faction you can work for and reap specific rewards. This was a good title to have in the beginning when PS2 first came out.
