Revolutionary
The gameplay puts you in min 1800 or something like that when steam was discovered , and builts in irtrigs and plots that can only make you play more more getting you in a mood to create solve and work out the misteries that lay in the whole arcanum world.
The world has alot of variety , skills are more than enough , classes also and races. The unique features here than any other rpg at that time is that in arcanum you can build from scram i. e . sniper rifle a can and a watch glass => you make a scoped rifle and so on , so this was pretty cool .We also have the soundtrack thats very very immersive nice creepy playing violins for extra atmosphere in the game
Unfortunately Troika Games the creator of Arcanum has gone out of business, and there will be no other predecesors for Arcanum . But it still remains a must play for any rpg fans out there.
