This game is junk.

This game was promising. Far from blockbuster, but it looked like a game that would be fun for the family and friends. Once you start playing, you realize why no gamespot staffer has reviewed the game - it's utter crap.
The graphics are typical Wii fare, but it's the controls that kill all the enjoyment. The control scheme in games like Wii Sports is intuitive - you can figure out how to move the Wii mote without any instruction; in this game, the controls make no sense at all.
Basketball: press A, then raise the controller...half the time does nothing, the rest of the time is really just lucky shooting, no aiming involved.
Bowling: curves when you throw straight, goes straight when you curve...not that it matters since there are no gutters and obstacles screw up most shots anyways...not to mention the 50 pound pins that require a fast roll to knock over.
Whack-a-mole: One would think that aiming the controller at the screen or using the d-pad then either pressing a button or a hammer-like motion would be the scheme here. Stupid thinking on our parts; tilt the controller in each respective direction and press A to hit.
What were the programmers thinking? I suggest firing whoever came up with the control schemes for this game.
