Very solid RPG experience for the PS2

I picked up this game randomly one day and it was one of the greatest things I could have done. The storyline is one of the best out of all the rpgs on the ps2. It provides plenty of great turn-based action and this (other than FF series) one the first real turn based RPG I got into.

The boss fight is ridiculously hard, although there is a loophole...I managed to kill the boss in 2 hours by using my base attack with Maru only, all my other characters I just let die...ah well...still if your looking for something with original spells, art, etc. pick this up, one of my favortie games on the console.

  Although good characters and storyline makes this Arc the Lad good lack of special effects make it bland at times.
