Disappointing seems like an appropriate description to give this game, because it is!

User Rating: 6.5 | Aqua Teen Hunger Force Zombie Ninja Pro-Am PS2
I don't know why I'm rating this game now… I just am.
First of all I want to start by saying that I was too overexcited when I first heard that there was a game based on Aqua Teen Hunger Force, so-so that I ended up overlooking a serious fact that this game is beyond bad.
The game begins as we learn that Frylock gets accepted to a prestigious golf club that he applied to and an angry Master Shake was rejected (well actually he did not apply). The Aqua Teen then set out (in Carl's car) to play golf. Master Shake has one goal, which will increase to three, which are to defeat Frylock at golf and destroy all who will oppose him. Oh, and also race the Frat Aliens.
Game play involves three different activities. Golfing, Fighting and Racing.
Golfing involves the player using the left analogue stick to aim and pressing the X button once to start your back swing once again to stop your back swing and again to shoot the ball. You can also use the L1 or R1 button to select club, the circle button to have Frylock blast the ball so it can travel farther or press the triangle button to use Meatwad as a ball and you can control him when he lands. Press R2 to use a mulligan which can allow you to re-take a swing if you mess up. The golfing controls had a slow response time and at times when I wanted to use Frylock's blast all he'd do was move in circles and I had to restart my game because of it. When I used Meatwad sometimes it wouldn't matter how hard I hit him or whether I was tapping the X button repeatedly or not, he'd land and start moving. Another thing is that it is impossible to get a hole-in-one, you can't. Repeatedly hitting the ball to get to the hole can die down quickly.
Fighting involves using the left analogue stick to move, the circle button to switch between Frylock and Shake, The X button to attack, the L1`or R1 buttons to select weapons and the triangle button to use Meatwad as a method to draw enemies to him so you can attack the enemies. You can find more weapons and collectibles on the field in-between golf shots, which is a good thing. Now, one thing I should mention is that having one combo move makes any beat-em-up dull and boring and that this game mode in particular is the most glitch-filled one there is, which is sad because it's the only way you will get around the golf course (Glitches include players falling through the ground, floating enemies and characters, short-time freezing, music and sound turning on-and-off, etc). The shotgun weapon doesn't use a sophisticated aiming system like in Grand Theft Auto but instead uses an auto aiming system in which when you approach enemies which sucks. Navigation is very basic because you can't jump or climb walls etc. then again it's a golf game. Frylock's hovering will not benefit him in any way, I've warned you. The environment you're walking around in is ugly, bad graphics. The songs are a few seconds long (Hyperbole!) and will drive you crazy after listening to them 5 or 6 times in one sitting.
Racing involves the player using the left analogue stick to steer, the L1 button to use one out-of-two power-ups and the X button to accelerate and square to brake. These controls have long response times especially firing a weapon. There are only two power-ups, which is lame. Another annoying thing is that you have to pass through checkpoints otherwise you will still be in second place. In my opinion this is the most boring game mode.
The only reason you should play this game is because of the entertaining and okay-looking cinematics and the extras and not the game itself. Unlock them and be done with it, after all it will only take you a few hours. Oh yeah you want to know why I gave it a 6.5… well I like Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
