Flawless level design, highly addictive gameplay, and a plethora of hidden secrets made this game the king of it's time.

I remember playing this game obsessively with my sister. I think Super Mario Bros 3 was fired up at least 10 times as often as any other game in my entire childhood. Second only to Goldeneye 007 (N64) on my list of favourite games of all time, this was by far the greatest NES game. In fact, flawless level design, highly addictive gameplay, and a plethora of hidden secrets made this the absolute no.1 game of its time on any platform. I am now playing the GBA version on my DS, and am amazed how much addictive fun it still has to offer!
