Ape escape on the loose will not make you go bananas if anything it will leave you bored and annoyed. Just a bad remake.

You may remember ape escape on the PS1 that cute game that every little kid loved and every parent liked to wacth as their kid played it. It was fun, witty, and kids could easily play it and the story had replay value. But since that first game, we've been waiting for a better sequel since. And it finallly! not here...... On the loose is an exact remake of the first on the PSP and it really doesnt offer that much, at all. The controls are weak and just flat out suck and the story is the exact same thing, like that the heck? But the funny monkeys and the fun ad hoc multiplayer games make this game the 6 i gave it.

The gameplay is just not anything special the water downed by a gallon of water controls will leave you mad and will take about 20 minutes for you to get used to. The action is decent and a positive about the returning traits of the game is the return of the original weapons which are great and make you feel right at home as a Ape escape fan. The monkeys are really hard to cacth later on just because the stupid controls make it difficult for you and your just left pissed off at the frustrting controls. There decent but still make you mad.

From a graphical perspective this game looks just like the original on the PS1 which is a positive, that pretty much it.

If you played the first the story is exacrtly the same

All in all this game is bad remake and really is nothing special
