Classic formula. Good stuff.

A highly enjoyable game through and through, granted you might get a little bored with it quickly if you burned yourself out on its prequels as it is a system very similar to the previous. Everything looks great, even on my PC which can only handle the medium graphics setting, and everything is fluid. They do seem to have downgraded on the diplomacy department but I didn't mind too much.

Campaign is good, better than the ones I played on the previous ones, and it's really involved online; nothing like going co-op with a friend and building up a city and its economy from the ground up. I enjoy the online play the most. This game takes a lot of focus and will require you to multitask. It gets more difficult as your city grows.. you can lose track of things while doing multiple things at once.. So what's not to like about having a friend join up with you on co-op and work at your side with a shared pool of resources, money, and units? Definitely something other companies should consider doing. In depth cooperative games are some of my favorites.

While it may be drab and boring to some, it's very in depth and rewarding to those who enjoy this sort of genre.. a less combat oriented Real Time Strategy, if you will.
