ripping off harvest moon and not even putting the good parts of the game in, this should be worth renting first.

Who has ever looked at a game and said it was nice because it was so simplistic? i have. this game does that, but in a bad way. this game practically is a bad version of harvest moon. you have a house, you meet friends along the way, but that's pretty much THE WHOLE GAME of animal crossing (besides building up your house and having a paying job). plus... there's cockroaches..... lots of cockroaches..... and that's the worst part of the game for me. if you don't want your house looking like a mess, it penalizes you by messing your house up with cockroaches. and you have to get rid of ALL OF THEM! talk about cruel!

Still, if you really like simplicity, then this game is for you. but you are reading a review of a person who prefers at least 5 things in a game. let's just say i was never a big fan of this series. city folk tried to clean up it's act, but it did barely any better.
oh yeah, and that compatibility stuff or whatever that is? well, i couldn't really understand that, so this game gets a 4.5/10. rent it first, and make your move. that's all.
