What seems like it could be a great game, is ruined by the fact that only one member of the family can play - ever. Once an island is created, that's it, nobody else who ever uses the entire Nintendo Switch console can play their own game, without buying another console. Siblings, spouses, significantly others, normal members of the household are prevented from starting quests of their own, and are rendered no more than NPCs in someone else's game. This is an idea so shockingly abysmal that it immediately refutes and positive promise the game may have had.
