Animal Crossing: City Folk is an interesting game with new features but isn't that much new from the former instalments.

The Animal Crossing series has been a major hit even since Animal Crossing ( GC ) was released in japan for the N64 on April 14, 2001 in Japan. The Animal Crossing: City folk game gives you a new look at the modern technology with a couple of improved features.

At the beginning of the game you are greeted by a cat named Rover who's on a train with you because your moving to a new town. Rover starts asking you questions that effect the game like what your name is.

One of the new features in the game is that you can select a house from for locations around the place. It's very useful and each location has an advantage. A major improvement is your aloud to go into the city to go to new stores like Gracie Grace and you can get your hair cut at the hair dressers.

The most disappointing thing is that the game hasn't given enough new and hasn't improved that much since the Nintendo DS game Animal Crossing: Wild World. Other than he improved graphics and a few new features this game really has nothing new.

The graphics in this game are unique cartoon like graphics with bright colours that really bring out the setting. Every time you start a new town the landscape changes but mainly it's just green grass and trees with river's and an ocean in the middle

Overall the gameplay is great, the new features improve the game and the graphics are pretty good but the game really could have brought more to the series.
