You can't help but love this game, even if you end up 'button mashing'.

The concept is simple: you play for birds trying to fight back their eggs by- wait for it- hurling birds at various breakable structures to defeat pigs. It's barmy, but strangely enjoyable.

The levels aren't hard and more often than not you will see the solution immediately, but struggle to execute it because you can't just get the angle right or the strength of throw right. When this happens, you can spend a straight hour doing more or less the same thing in order to defeat those infernal, laughing pigs.

The controls are straightforward: pull back a sling and watch your little, round bird hurtle through the air to smash wood, ice and stone; occasionally activating their special abilities. It doesn't take any time to pick up the controls, but you spend most of your time fine tuning them to get exactly the right angles. The graphics are attractive and unremarkable, the bright colours almost encouraging the light-heartedness of the game.

I like this game more than I should. There are too many levels to get through- which should turn me off- but it is incredibly addictive because there is always another level to complete. Once played, you can understand why it is so insanely popular.
