Americas army, is by far one of the best games i have ever played. First of all, it is very fun, also it is addicting, and finally the online is great! You start off as a riflemen and you have to work your way through the ranks as if you are actually in the army. Ill start off by saying that the RPG element that they added in the game really helps you create your own unique soldier. You can be a medic, marksman, automatic riflemen, riflemen, and a close quarters weapons expert. I think I named them all. Then there are a number of different catagories to level yourself up with. For example, marksmenship skill lets you be more accurate period and helps you be more accurate while under fire. Also there are special bonuses in battle. So if i'm in a battle and it says silent shot at the bottom of the screen then that means that the next shot ill take will go unoticed by the enemy. I think this is a very stratigic and interesting add on to the game. I must admit that the single player does get a little boring after a while. But when you start out you are glued onto the TV. Once you get bored from the single player, definitly check out the multiplayer. Its far more addicting then single player and its much more intense. I love multiplayer so much because when your working together with your team it really makes you feel like your in the army. Your watching your teamates back as they watch yours. For example, you can have a sniper hang back and cover 2-3 people rushing. It's very fun. The RPG element carries into the multiplayer. The only problem is you cant take your single player character and transfer him onto multiplayer. So you have to start out from scratch. The cool thing is if you get a high ranking and you do good some of the newbs look up to you. So you pretty much get bragging rights. Just don't abuse those rights... Overall the graphics are good, nothing special. The gameplay is fun and addicting. And the online is the best componite in this game and should not be missed. If you don't have xbox live then I suggest you rent it first. If your not into realistic first person shooters, i suggest you rent it because this isn't some kind of run 'n' gun type game. You really have to plan out your actions. But if your into the realistic type shooters then go right in and buy this game. I hope you enjoyed this review! Ill see you on xbox live.
