Over all a very good game for young and old alike, easy to get a hang of and a great way to kill boredom waiting in line

Amazing Penguin for the Game Boy (circa 1990) is a little known game by Natsume which is a good developer. In this game you take control of a (Chilli Willie rip off looking) penguin who must uncover puzzle pieces to make an entertaining picture (which sometimes you don’t get to see due to fast loading times). On this rather simplistic quest (really it only sounds simplistic) you encounter enemies who for some reason try to kill an innocent penguin (you). These enemies are destroyed by popping balls that are around squares they are on at the time, which is also how to uncover the picture. All that mixed with a decently addictive sound track and cute little beeps and bops (actually the sound is fairly original for the time period) Over all a very good game for young and old alike, easy to get a hang of and a great way to kill boredom waiting in line at the airport or DMV.
