This game is a bad adventure game that was brought back from the original game!!!!!
Gameplay: If you played the old version of the game then you will know what to expect from this game. You have a story mode which you are a soldier and you need to stop a ruler from destroying the earth. But, I had some issues with the game itself. First, the combat system in the game just sucks because the only things you can do are just kick and punch. That is it. Second, the game is too old. If it was a continuation to the game then I would understand but reviving the game is just brutal. Overall, you have some great modes like storymode, options and even multiplayer which is great. The controlls are are easy to controll and very responsive. And last, the camera angles are good for a 2D fighting action game.
Graphics: The graphics in this game are really bad because the grahpics are the same as the old version. I mean, the player that you play, the environments and the modes are exactly the same as the old version which is bad because the gameboy advance is much better in the graphics department then the console that you played this game in the past so they really should change the graphics and the combo system.
Sound: The sound in this game are actually the best thing about this game. The soundtracks are really well done and the music is great. If they would add some new soundtracks and if they added some voiceovers then the storymode could be a little more interesting.
Value: You can play this game for hours and hours trying to finish the game. The story mode is really long and the multiplayer can keep you busy for a really long time. But the fact that the combo system is really low and there is no voiceovers, then the storymode won't be really interesting for some people.
Reviewer's tilt: Overall, Altered Beast guardian of the realms is a bad translation of the old version of the game. You have a long storymode and a really fun multiplayer but the fact that the storymode is really boring because of the lack of combos and voiceovers then you should buy this game only if your friend has it.
