Maybe not flash or full of stunning features but still a great game.
Within the first 10 minutes we were hooked. Round his house every day playing til we could get it done.
Now I'm not saying that means it's the best thing since sliced bread. It does have its flaws. But first the positive. The story is good. Not gonna give anything away to those who haven't played it but the game won't let go either, leaving you in the dark for most of the game, casually slipping you a little hint of what is really going on.
The scare factor is quite high on this one. With shadow monsters that can't be killed only "shooed" away by your flashlight. The game's dark and creepy surrounding, much like the methods used on the Silent Hill titles leave the gamer with little room to see what's ahead. So this makes up for the slightly below par graphics.
Also, as far as bad points go, the game does get a little bit annoying as far as glitches, bad soundovers and graphic problems. Some gamers may not overlook these which is understandable, but those who will, will be in for a good one with this I reckon.
