All Star Baseball 2001 is yet another hit that release on N64. It still has the same superb gameplay from last year's, with a little extra in it. ASB2001 fixed most of the glitches I experienced in 2000. The gameplay is more intense, fun and exciting.] If you want to talk about the graphics, it definately cannot be matched except for games such as LoZ Majoras MAsk, Paper Mario, ect...The game looks fantastic, as if it was on the next gen console after N64. The sound unfortunatly... isnt so great. It would be way better if there were the sounds effects like... -Make an actual bat swing and hit sound -Players talking trash with others (good idea =] ) -Better wind sounds... -The Crowd goes wild after homeruns, hits , ect... ( REALLY wild) -Team cheers ECT... I guarentee it, if those features were on this game, I would have done nothing but score the sound 10 out of 10. If you've enjoyed last year's game, there should be no trouble liking this game. It'll last you long, with or without friends. The season mode is also pretty well constructed. Scouting reports, injury, call ups from AA and AAA ect... , all that you expect from last year's. Overall, ASB2001 is a superb game, definate improvement from last year's processor, and is a must-buy if you're a baseball fan. The graphics are completely unmatched, and you wouldn't be suprised how much you'll like this. Have fun
