Reading the features of the game, it seemed to be a real killer. (...) Then i saw the company. 3000AD, OH NO!!!!

When i first heard about this game, I thought to myself: "wow this one is going to be good. Ground fighting with air fighting all on a massive scale with tons of units/vehicles, huge terrain, great mp, etc"

Unfortunately this thought soon changed when i downloaded the demo and ran it the first time. The interface and complexity seemed to tell me something, but wasn't quite sure. The super flat terrain with very empty, open spaces and some super blocky buildings made me doubt further.

I ran the first mission, was looking around trying to figure things out only to be quickly killed. Okay, well i was wandering around so my fault. I reran and tried the mission more seriously, about 2 minutes into it, some artillery start shooting boom ded. Ok. Relatively same results quite a few times.

I went to try the flight portion since im usually very good at flight sims but this is when I remembered where the interface/complexity came from. "This.... its probably a.... 3000AD game, OH NO!!!!"

I uninstalled the demo.

I'm used to playing hard games with difficult controls (ex: Falcon4 (awesome sim btw)) but 3000AD knows how to beat em.

Having tried a lot of 3000AD games, the battlecruiser series etc (If i remember correctly, millennium even had some of falcon4 in it strangely i think. I think the mission planner looked like flacon4's? Not quite sure tho, could be another one in the series.). All of those games 3000AD made had A LOT of potential but only to be the worst experience ever because of being so poorly made with the worst UI designs ever and controls. I actually have no idea how this company managed to survive so many failures. Are the programmers working for free on their free time?

Well, 3000AD almost fooled me on this one, thanks a lot to the demo, i didn't got caught (keep rolling the demo guys, that way ppl are sure not to buy your games!). A bit harsh i know but im really trying hard to give these guys a chance but they just cant cut it. I really feel sorry for them. Well one positive thing... they managed to survive all that time! (congrats!)
