Great atmosphere, graphically beautiful, lots of fun!
Graphics are beautiful and fit the world wonderfully. The controls (using k/b and mouse) work well and are very responsive. Story is top notch IMO. Love the whole take on Alice and the interaction with the wonderland residents. The monsters you encounter are quite unique and do require some strategy, but they are not overly difficult at least on normal.
Gameplay wise, all depends what your looking for or expect. Lots of platforming, object gathering, and foes to dispatch. I'm slightly biased here cause I love these kind of games, and I'm enjoying the change compared to the games that have been released (mainly on PC platform) lately. If you enjoy these kinds of games you won't be disappointed. It's not anything groundbreaking as in new to the genre, but I've encountered no bugs, minor camera glitches, and descent frame rates throughout.
It's not often enough that we gamers get to enjoy a twisted yet well put together story and game that is worth the money we spent on it. I got the complete edition which also includes the first game. Which I played long ago when it first came out. I definitely will be visiting it again.
Haven't finished it yet and really in no hurry to cause it's an awesome game to just absorb slowly.
