Disney did a wonderful job bringing an Alice in Wonderland to the big screen, but did they succeed at making a game?

Alice returns to Underland (Wonderland's actual name) but has no memory of it. Her friends must help her and prepare for her battle against the Red Queen's Jabberwocky.

First let's start with the good things. The environments are beautiful, and look just like in the movie. You can use the character's special abilities to unlock chests and doors, and the Mad Hatter's gives you a sense of "Things are not always as they seem" feel.

Now let's get to the bad. The game is rather short, which makes the $50 price seem steep. The environments are kind of limited (You can't go into the White Queen's Castle despite it being open). Getting back to the round hall, can be somewhat frustrating, even if you have the map. The Red Knights still appearing after the game is over, and appearing at every turn, which is still annoyance during the game. Also, not being able to play as Alice is sort of a negative (Though you can play her in the final interactive cut scene).

All in all, this would be a great weekend renter, but if you're an Alice in Wonderland die hard fan, and you must have it, then buy it.
