Agreat old time RPG

User Rating: 8 | Albert Odyssey: Legend of Eldean SAT
Not many RPGs on the saturn but Albert Oddysey is one that you should check out. This game was going to be released for the SNES but it was to late in it's console life, so now we have this wonderful RPG.

Gameplay(8): No frills here. Basic turned based RPG combat here. It's the basic RPG stuff here. In a way it kinda reminds me of the old SNES Final Fantasy games. The game it self is pretty easy. You can tackle it in about 30-40 hours, but you'll enjoy every bit of it.

Story(8): Ain't exactly epic, but the story suffices. You are Pike a young boy raised in a Harpy village, and when a crystal from your village is stolen you set out to win it back. You will gain party members to the like of Eka, a dancer, and Garr, a dragon, and you will encounter bosses as colorful as a vampire and even a giant hand.

Audio/Video(9): Purrdy graphics. Gives you that warm, soft, good 16-bit graphics style feeling. The music is great. You might even stop to hum along to one of these great ballads.

Replayability: Standard RPG replay value. Replay only if you want to, or your bored, or just because.

To buy or rent: I completed this one in four days, but for the ametuer it might take longer. It's really up to you if you want to buy it.
