Age Of Empires II... Purely wow
To me, the best game in existance, its the greatest genre being rts but still packs that fighting, leveling up rpg kick that gamers like myself much enjoy.
Even if the original was not your thing, the grapihcs on this are greatly improved although are primative compared to its recent sequal but thats when you just gotta say "whos cares, its the gameplay that counts," strangely, just l ike i did. Anywayz before i get all techno babble, the system requirements are low so this game is almost guaranteed to work for you although im not sure about its compatibility with vista. You still get the scenario builder from the original which to me made the game. Also, strangely, its a great game and educational. Follow in the footsteps of joan of arc or Ghengis Kahn. Its also been released on the Nintendo Dual Screen and for me bought this game back from the past and into the present. Once your in the castle age, the game gets interesting with the use of monks and castles. If a units in your way, either take the peaceful route and convert it to wrok with you using the monks signiture move along side heal or rather more graphically indulging, blast it to hell and highwater.
Overall, a great game 11/10 from me and realistically a must have in any RTS or RPG gamers's collection.
