User Rating: 7 | Age of Empires: Collector's Edition (Xplosiv) PC
Age of Empires: Collector's Edition is little more than that, for there is no special things with it except for some random music tracks that just aren't worth the Collector's Edition part. This is more for people who want to find the great game that started Ensemble on a successful franchise. The other thing is that a lot of the old PC games are hard to find unless they are re-released to make more money or to set people up for a sequel.

Lets chop some more bad stuff away by ignoring the first Age of Empires and just installing 2 and playing its expansion pack but its a great game and well worth 20 bucks. Now I can't mark it to high because I haven't played the multiplayer. The best bit is you don't need the disc to play it and number 2 doesn't have the same atrocities of AoE 1.

So AoE 1 with its expansion pack Rise of Rome and AoE 2 with the Conquerors expansion pack, 4 additional tracks to play on your media player and a nice orange box with a reasonable price tag. The one final atrocity Ensemble did was by leaving you with no manual whatsoever, only some Ubisoft advertising.
