As far as gameplay goes, the experience is what you want to make it. You can play through the game on easy and be satisfied with a light and fun game. On the other hand you can play on the hard setting and give yourself a true challenge with trying to work with an at time slow AI partner and limited resources. It applies the rules of a strategy game with an at times fun story line, to make a fun game best enjoyed in short bursts.
The best part of this game is the ability to design your own challenges to test yourself and share with friends. This game is fun, but don't expect to be spending your weeks trying to conquer the high seas, cause me mates, this game be only an 8.5.
