Certainly has the modern day AFL feel, Expanded career mode would be expected in the future but this is a solid start

Upon loading up the game and being treated to some Hunters and Collectors I had a warm feeling inside sensing Big Ant really wanted this to feel like a true AFL game.

Of course I dived straight into a match and it wasn't long before I felt out of my depth with getting smashed in the ruck and around stoppages. by half time I had adjusted to the controls and the gameplay and found it rather natural and ultimately the most faithful recreation of the great game to date.

Once again commentary is mainly laughable with some classic "Comettiism's" and I was a little disappointed with the fact the Season mode only lasted one season especially with the direction the last gen AFL games had added the drafts and multiple seasons boosting the games longevity, which I think will be implemented in future releases.

It would seem Big Ant studios were mainly concerned with providing solid, faithful and smooth gameplay which in my opinion they have achieved.

A good all round first effort that will hopefully pave the way for bigger more ambitious things in the future.

Commendable effort Big Ant. hopefully the AFL marketing team will realise a great videogame maybe an excellent way for them to boost it's popularity outside Victoria among younger people and maybe help increase funding for the next game or expansion
