Best RPG at the time...

Well, it's Role Playing if you want to imagine yourself as a little colored block. While the Atari 2600 had its limitations, the developers made the most out of it. Adventure was my all time favorite Atari game, don't ask me why. Slaying dragons and collecting keys to doors was simplified, but it was always a challenge, at least to a 10 year old.
You gotta love that games like these spawned the development of games we have today. Just remember that while the graphics and sound sucked, it was the game console of the day, and Adventure is one of the best 2600 games out there.
There are online 2600 emulators that feature this game. Highly recommend giving it a try, if you don't have a 2600 yourself.
