Adventure was released in 1978 for the Atari 2600. It caught many people by surprise, considering it was a hugely amazing action-adventure game. It was highly successful and is considered one of the best 2600 games of all time. I agree with those terms. It's obvious Adventure speaks for itself.
Game-play: 10/10
In the game, you must collect keys and other things to beat dragons. The game-play is one of the most addictive on the 2600, and it seriously won't get boring.
Graphics: 10/10
If the game was released in 1985, the graphics would suck, due to the ongoing development of graphics. The graphics are perfect for the late 70's.

Okay, okay. There isn't any sound what so ever. But, in the 70's, barely any game had sound. So...

Basically, the control is the best on the 2600. When you let go of the control, it lets go. You can easily control the game, and it'll get really fun once in a lifetime.
