A simple but awesome game. Buy it, no matter what.

Okay so this game; Advance Wars starts off where you are a newly promoted general in the Orange Star Army. Your home world is made of for waring nations at the moment; Orange Star (thats you), Green Earth, Blue Moon and Yellow Comet.

The game opens with an in-depth training excersise which trains you to learn the games basics and move on forward. NOTE: If you dont complete the training, the other feutures will remain locked.

All these nations have COS, or commanding officers. Some are Grit for Blue Moon, Drake for Green Earth and Max for Orange Star just to name a few. Despite the disappointing fact that you can only direct max, andy or sami in campaign mode, the other cos(drake, olaf, grit ect) are able to be purchased and used at the war room which basically replays missions.

Besides the 150 different types of maps used in the game, a map designer is introduced after the basic training is completed. This includes plenty of different tiles that you may use to create three of your dream battle maps, go nuts, honestly.

And as if 30 potential missions in campaign mode wasnt enough for you, each mission becomes far harder and requires more precision to complete.

In conclusion, AW 1 is a great game to all gba owners. If you havent played any of the gba titles (either one or two) then it might be best to start with 1 and then move one to the ever so excellent AW2: Black hole rising, but thats another story.
