It makes Donkey Kong Barrel Blast look like a masterpiece!
Well, after playing this game for an hour, I found out it's really awful. I already knew that. The Wiiviewer, a Youtube reviewer, said that "Action Girlz Racing was as much fun as a root canal, and almost as painful to play." Let's see why.
Well, first of all, this game is a Data Design Interactive game. They are the worst Wii game publishers of all time, because all of their games have terrible graphics, broken controls, and boring. This game is no exception.
This game has been out for two systems before the Wii, first a PC game, then a PS2 game, and now for the Wii. What a shame.
The controls were very loose, but if you really tried, they are playable. Tilt the Wiimote left and right to steer, just like Mario Kart Wii. Jerk the Wiimote to use items, 2 to accelerate, 1 to back up.
The tracks weren't too bad, just badly designed. Either they contained too much stuff that confused you, or there were too many tight turns that were impossible to make.
Remember in my Mario Kart DS Review when I said "why would anyone want to play a racing game with a fat Italian plumber?" Well, this game is why. The first track in the game is a perfect example of why the game is bad. I had no idea where to go. There's no indication. How am I supposed to figure out that the yellow double doors open when you crash into them? There is no sign. Also, you have to make tons of tight turns in these little hallways. I know right? It just showed poor track planning. This is why Mario Kart is so popular. The developers make good controls and keep the player in mind so they get lots of money. As for DDI, they do what they think is cool. They don't care about the players. Their loss.
The power ups were completely lame. Everything was copied from Mario Kart, but made stupider. Some examples were the turbo boost, which felt more like a push, and spinning mirrors which did nothing.
When you begin, you have four girls. They all had different looks, however, they all controlled the same and drove at the same speed, so there was no difference.
Overall, Action Girlz Racing is a really bad game. IGN gave this game a 0.8 out of 10, which is a really rare and bad score. Data Design Interactive has been saturating the game market with so many inferior products, that it's a threat to the gaming market.
This game gets a 1 out of 10 with the title of Abysmal!(I would've rated lower, but I can't.)
