This game pretty much amazes me. It was worth the wait 100%
The gameplay is more of the same from the previous games in the series, but it has a few new tweaks and interesting enemies. and as usual, it never seems to get old. I cant wait to play through it again... especially since the missions split off, and you can choose which ones to do and when, so the game is a little differant every time you play. The game plays easily but it's a little bit harder to maneuver around than in the previous games. As for multiplayer mode, I havent tried it yet, but I hear that it's really fun and there are several differant modes. (I wish there was a 1 player minigame or something after you beat the game) but overall the game is really fun and addicting. Story: 8
It doesn't really do anything new, but is still interesting and does a great job of tying it with the game. And since the game has split off missions, I figured the game would be short so I thought the game was over twice before it actually was. (overall it was satisfying)

Really nice for the PSP. The plane models, movements and explosions are superb, the atmosphere looks just a tad flat, but still gives a realistic feeling, and doesnt bother you at all. Sound: 10
sound is another excellent feature in the game. The music is great, it's very driving and keeps you on edge (in my opinion it has the best music in the series) the radio chatter is realistic and adds to the suspense, I don't think I heard anyone say anything more than once, so it's not repetative or annoying. As you're playing through a mission, you can hear the enemy jets flying all around you and gives you a sense of danger, explosions rumble in the distance, and are extremely loud at close range. Getting hit by a missle will definately give you a jolt. (use headphones!!)

high replay value. multiple difficulty levels to choose from so you can challenge yourself, story mode doesn't get old, and you have a free mission where you unlock each one by completing them. there are about 40 differant jets to unlock and purchase, as well as special weapons and parts to upgrade your planes. overall: 9.6
This is easily my best PSP game. It was worth the wait (which is something I rarely say). anyone with a PSP shouldn't pass this one up.
